| MHIRT AWARD INFORMATION
Graduate/Medical Students
Two to four positions will be funded to cover 3-month research positions. Students must be currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in biomedical or behavioral sciences.
Stipend: up to $1,000/mo (med student/masters level)
Stipend: up to $1,200/mo (doctoral level)
Living expenses: up to $950/mo Round trip airfare: 1 time
Foreign expenses: up to $750/mo U.S. expenses: up to $875/trainee
Undergraduate Students
Approximately twelve students will be funded to cover 3-month research positions. Students should have sophomore or junior status at the time of application.
Stipend: up to $800/mo
Living expenses: up to $950/mo
Round trip airfare: 1 time Foreign expenses: up to $750/mo for research, orientation, misc.
U.S. expenses: up to $875/trainee for health costs & misc fees
