CHGD now offers members the opportunity to access a senior research project manager to assist with research consultation and support for studies related to child and/or adolescent health, behavior and development. The project manager has over 8 years of experience managing and implementing research studies at the University, including studies on child development and behavior, as well as studies both in the health care system and the community, and is well-qualified to support study teams. This support can include, but is not limited to, consultation and/or practice regarding:
- Preparation and management of the IRB application and any other regulatory documentation
- Development and/or review of research protocols, methods and materials according to the PI’s research plan(s)
- Evaluation of research plan progress and delivery of recommendations for quality and progress improvement
- Consultation with the lab staff regarding U-M research regulations, practice, and processes as well as best practices for running a successful research lab and study.
