Lauren recently completed her Ph.D. in Child and Family Studies at the University of Tennessee and currently works with Dr. Brenda Volling at the Center for Human Growth and Development at the University of Michigan.  Her research interests include cross-cultural variation in infant social-emotional development and mother-infant attachment and the relationship between attachment and infant and mother cortisol reactivity to stress.
