Dr. Olson’s research focuses on the origins of antisocial behavior. She is particularly interested in explaining how early self-regulatory and social-cognitive deficits become translated into persistent patterns of maladjustment through transactions with family and peer systems. She also examines the development of children’s behavioral adjustment across diverse cultural contexts.
